TSW work in table groups to create a Picture Story for a designated word problem
type.
TSW develop their word problem in one math journal.
Once the students have come up with a word problem, TTW give each group a
blank printed paper.
TSW draw their word problem.
Once complete, TSW post their problem on the white board.

Assessment
TTW review how well the student created a word problem based on their designated
problem type.

TTW review the 6 different types of addition and subtraction word problems.

Students will be given examples for each type of word problem.
Students will be allowed to only draw pictures, but they must be able to describe their
pictures verbally.
