EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Threndle is a sewing service, craft enterprise, and an artistry company producing tote
bags. It is located within Rosario Pasig City, an advantageous place considering the trouble-
free nearby locations of workers and the lively neighborhood that perfectly suits to our
business. As a sewing/craft/tote bag company, Threndle is a business that performs
exceptional sewing skills, embroiders and paints detailed motif designs, resulting to a refined
crafted tote bags that are indeed worthy to be considered as an art. Sewing has now been
important part of our lives as it embodies the very essence of creating something, its
continuous subsistence is still successfully progressing as the result of the great talents and
hardships of many respectable tailors possessing honed skills. Our business creates an
opportunity to enlighten people through the sophistication and for them to spread the
significance of it.

The business was established on October 2023, originally guided by the promptly
created vision, objectives, and a mission which is to create tote bags that are not only
functionable and stylish but also eco-friendly and sustainable. They also serve as a blueprint
when constituting the SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunities, and threat) analysis and are
all crucial for the succession of the company. The tote bags made by Threndle can be
regarded as an open canvas, ‘a piece of blank cloth framed to create an artwork’, it both
serves as an epitome of craftsmanship and artistry while act as a versatile product. Aiming to
establish as a participant in the Tote bag sector, diversifying the range of products boosting
brand recognition and collaborating with organizations that share its values. Financial
forecasts indicate growth opportunities; hence this business is actively seeking investment to
facilitate the realization of aspirations. Threndle will steal the opportunity to exhibit the
correlation of art and craft and will uphold exemplary services to be one of the most marketed
tote bags producers.

III. LOGO DESIGN

LOGO DESCRIPTION

The logo might showcase the outline or shape of the tote bags, emphasizing the handles and
body to make them more recognizable. Our logo's color palette was more minimalist because
we wanted to make it simple and eye-catching. Subtle tones, such as muted brown or neutral
tones, create a sophisticated and versatile aesthetic, making our brand visually appealing
while maintaining a modern simplicity.

Ultimately, our tote bag logo design seeks the brand’s identity, values, and style, creating a
visually appealing and recognizable symbol that resonates with our target customers. The
baybayin word in our logo is translated as "make old to new fashion" The reason for that is
that we want our products to be as sustainable and recyclable as possible, its sturdy
construction ensures durability, and the well-worn denim lends a distinctive, eco-friendly
appeal.

I. INTRODUCTION

- DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT

To meet the demands of the market and ensure customer satisfaction, our company,
Threndle, Sewing, and Art Services is committed to producing a supply of meticulously
crafted tote bags. We offer ready-made tote bags for walk-in clients and plain tote bags that
can be customized while prioritizing the quality of our products, also emphasizing the post-
purchase care. In line with our eco-approach, we encourage everyone to contribute their old
worn-out fabrics, reducing costs for customers while promoting creativity and preserving
resources. By utilizing quality recycled materials, we aim to support waste management in
our country while also providing opportunities for individuals to discover their hidden talents in
weaving and crafting.

- SHORT HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Threndle was formed and founded in October 2023 when 8 students from Arellano
University -Andres Bonifacio Campus conflated their ideas about what business can be
relevant during this generation, wherein beauty and fashion standards are made, and quality
materials are commonly used in making different fashion accessories and clothes. Some of
the members are disappointed in other brand’s designs because they don’t fit their taste.
That’s when they decided to build a business that sells personalized tote bags.

From sourcing quality materials to employing skilled artisans, Threndle ensures that each
tote bag is crafted with care and precision. Additionally, Threndle's commitment to
sustainability is evident in its use of eco-friendly materials and production processes
providing unique and high-quality products.

In 1944, the LL Bean Company came up with an alternative solution for the common
problem in those times, such as transporting ice from the car to the freezer. Maine, with some
of the housewives & rural families in mind, created a non-nonsense water-resistant canvas
bag.

Did you know that the tote bag didn't have a name until the 20th century? The "tote" is
meant to be carried by hand. Tote bags were mainstream in the 1950s culture, and most of
the female population used them as everyday handbags. One remarkable design of it was
the custom tote bag. In the 1980s, the bookstore of the Strand came to define the NYC
experience of grit and creativity and resonate with cosmopolitan city-dwellers.

III. TARGET MARKETING

The target market of Threndle will be young adults near Rosario. The reason why we
chose young adults as our target market is because, as we all know, they are the ones who
have a great fashion sense, and surely our tote bag will make a good combination with their
fashion styles.

Even Though our brand focuses on young adults, it does not mean that any other age,
such as kids, teenager and adults, cannot buy our product because the good thing about our
product is that it is a diverse product that any age can use.

Just to inform you, here in our company, we tried our very best to make our customers
satisfied with their purchases.

IV. BUSINESS GOALS

At Threndle, our mission is to create tote bags that are not only Functional and
stylish but also eco-friendly, sustainable, and environmentally conscious. We are dedicated to
making a positive impact on the environment and society by providing high-quality, versatile
tote bags that allow our customers to make a fashion statement while reducing their
environmental Footprint.

• To escalate profits and expand our product line by enhancing functionality by means of
engaging in bigger partnerships.

V. CAPITAL SOURCING

Threndle is a startup company established by a group of senior high school students


and beginners in this field. We propose that the suitable capital source for our business will
be personal savings. Considering the obstacle of lacking a connection since we are only
beginners, we aim to save a specific amount of money Contributed by each one of us.

Currently, Threndle is in the early stages of achieving success because we are just getting
started in this field, but we'll make sure that our brand will be known and successful in the
near future.

-Product

Products compromise sewed items that are both raw and crafted. Tools that are
considered raw and are yet to be used are composed of thrifted fabrics, cones of threads,
needle sets, and design necessities. Hence, the crafted materials that the workers created
using the said raw equipment are the marketed tote bags.

-Price

The Threndle company ensures that their product's price justifies its value. The price of
the product is determined by the cost of materials used, labor of the employees, and the
preferences and needs of the target market. Therefore, developing a new product or service
should consider the preferences and needs of the customers. It's important to note that any
change in price will be noticed immediately by the customers.

-Promotion

For the promotion, The Threndle brand wants to endorse their product by using
flyers, and making video ads on Facebook and even in newspapers. They also plan to
promote their products by creating social media accounts and posting pictures of their
products with catchy captions.

-Place

Our business is located at 30 luwalhati st ,Doña Damiana Village ,Rosario ,Pasig


City. The Threndle is a type of home business designed for walk-ins and Reserved clients.
The Threndle brand also intends to create a page for online consumers around Metro Manila.

Our packaging is designed with environmental awareness and protection, that's


why, The Threndle brand focuses on using recyclable materials when it comes to their
packaging, such as: paper and eco bags.

-Positioning

To establish Threndle as a remarkable brand in the eyes of the public, the plan is to
enhance its style by using chic and eco-friendly tote bags and providing professional
services. This will result in a unique and perfect balance between fashion and sustainability
with a carefully curated collection of tote bags.

-People

Employees should have knowledge about what they are about to do because in
order to have a good and efficient product, they must have enough knowledge, so that there's
no wasted materials and also to make the customers satisfied by the quality of the product

The Threndle brand aims to be one of the known and most popular brands for the
tote bag industry not only because of their designs but also for the quality of the product and
customer services. The company has an ability to compete with other brands due to their
simple and relatable designs. Our brand made a lot of effort from thorough researching of
how to make a tote bag, up to marketing it. Not only that, our brand also excels in their effort
to make sure that our customers are satisfied with the product that they purchased.
The Threndle goal is to provide good quality and best services to the consumers,
because of that, our company launched not only a plain tote bag but a personalized one. It
means that the consumers can request any designs that they want or they like. By that ,the
