Introduction
Kromacryl FDA 4282 Black contains a very high purity carbon black pigment
dispersed in a mixture of solubilised acrylic polymer, humectant, preservative and
water.
Our FDA products may safely be used in rubber articles intended for repeated use,
Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 Part 177.2600. This product contains
substances that by regulation in parts 170 through 189 may be safely used in rubber
articles. The pigments used are listed in 178.3297 Colourants for polymers. The
black pigment used is high-purity furnace black (CAS Reg. No. 1333-86-4) containing
total polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons not to exceed 0.5 parts per million, and
benzo[a]pyrene not to exceed 5.0 parts per billion. For use at levels not to exceed 2.5
percent by weight of the polymer. These products are widely used for the
manufacture of gloves for food contact and other rubber articles.

The pigment content is approximately 30%, the particle size is  5m.

Heat resistance ~200°C
