Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys is a National Football Team that has been called “America’s Team”

for many years. Football is an American sport that deals with throwing, running, and kicking the

ball. The National Football League is played every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday with the

exception of Saturday, until later in the season. Many fans have created fan groups to give fans

more information regarding the team. The “Dallas Cowboys Fans" is a Facebook group that

posts information to get to understand the players, giving members a sense of pride, and ways for

fans to show their love for the team.

To begin with, the “Dallas Cowboys Fans” let community members post important news

regarding anything that has to do with the players and the team. The “Dallas Cowboys Fans”

show the injuries, trade deals, and wins for the team. For example, one of the recent posts talked

about a recent win against another football team. The post goes into detail talking about how the

players felt after the game and what they believed they could have done better overall as a team.

It also explained how the Cowboys had sent a message to every other team with their victory on

Sunday night. The members were able to see what the team could improve on and how they look

forward to next week’s game. The “Dallas Cowboys Fans” also give more information on

induvial players on the team. For instance, they posted about Tony Pollard saying that he can

handle being the number one running back for the team. This shows the community members

that Tony Pollard is working hard and ready to be better than he was last year. As a result, the

“Dallas Cowboys Fans” Facebook page allows fans to be able to keep up with important

information about the players, get to understand the players and their game.

In addition to helping fans learn more about the players, the “Dallas Cowboys Fans” give

the statistics of players on the team to the members of the community. Statistics are a huge part

of the fan page because it allows members to see who is doing the best on the team and who

might need more help in their positions. Also, it gives them a sense of pride that their team is

doing good. For instance, the “Dallas Cowboys Fans" posted a statistic about CeeDee Lamb

having the most receiving yards in his first 50 games than anyone else that wore the number 88

on the Cowboys. This allows the members to see that CeeDee Lamb could become one of the

best receivers they have ever had. This statistic also shows the community members that CeeDee

is very consistent in how he plays the game. Not only does the “Dallas Cowboys Fans” give

statistics about individual players but also ex-Cowboy players. For example, a recent post talks

about how some ex-players are Hall of Fame nominees. The Hall of Fame is where players get

inducted when they have had outstanding careers. This is significant to the community because it

shows the legacy of the team and how they are still remembered to this day. As shown above, the

“Dallas Cowboys Fans” community shows the members a sense of pride about their current and

ex-players.

Furthermore, the “Dallas Cowboys Fans” gives fans ways to be able to support the team.

Team jerseys are something that the page announces to community members to show off to other

communities or teams. Cowboy fans tend to buy team jerseys because they love to show that

they are fans. Fans tend to decorate the house full of Cowboys merchandise. To illustrate this,

the “Dallas Cowboys Fans” posted different Cowboy jerseys that can be customized with the

buyer’s name on the back. This allows fans to be able to show their love and support for their

team, which is a big part of being a fan of a team. The fans also can show off to other teams all

their gear. The “Dallas Cowboys Fans” also post about different deals about fan made

accessories. For example, they posted about Cowboys helmets that were replicas of the old ones

they used to wear. This is significant to the fans because they can decorate their houses to show

their love for the team. Overall, the “Dallas Cowboys Fans" group shows community members a

way of promoting their favorite team to others.

In essence, the “Dallas Cowboys Fans” shows community members more about their

favorite team. The “Dallas Cowboys Fans” give members an opportunity to understand players, a

sense of pride and be able to promote their team. Groups like this have given ways for fans to

express themselves and will continue to do so as time goes on.
