Utilization of Laboratories to Improve Science Process Skills of Class

The education system in Indonesia has undergone several curriculum
changes. Basically all curricula applied in Indonesia have advantages
and disadvantages in the application process. In Indonesia, currently
developing the 2013 curriculum or better known as K13 (Maulina &
Kustijono, 2017). Learning applied to K13 for all levels of education
using a scientific approach (Scientific pproach) through observing,
questioning, reasoning, testing, testing activities. Indonesia's scientific
approach will make students more active in the learning process,
previously teachers were a source of learning (Teacher center) to
become (student center) students, namely students of the Ministry of
Culture (Student Center for Cultural Education). A teacher must be able
to create a new atmosphere, provide a learning experience that is not
easily forgotten and how a student can learn. Berdаsаrkаn undаng–

dirinyа, society, nation and state (Law No. 23, 2003). The skills in
question are skills that are important and necessary in the development
of knowledge. One of the sciences that is important and needed is
natural science (IP) more specifically biology (Falahudin et al., 2016).
This conformity is in line with (Biology, 2017) in his research saying
biology as part of the integral IPА, providing a variety of learning
experiences and skills for science process skills. The science process
skills possessed by students have the potential to be able to build basic
competencies through scientific attitudes, and the knowledge
construction process gradually. Science process skills are basically the
basic abilities to learn and to form a foundation for each individual in
self-development (Rosdianiyani & Erlin, 2022; Rosdiani & Erlin, 2022;
2022; Erlin, 2022). Science process skills can be classified into two. In
the same time, the process of processing in the same time as a scientific
community that includes: to be, communicating with observations in the

skills, must be trained to students so that students are not only recipients
of information, but also can seek information related to the things being
studied (Qomaruddin & Info, 2022). Science process skills in learning
need to be improved to instill scientific attitudes in students (Siswono,
2017). Students' science process skills need to be improved through
practicum in the laboratory so that they can improve conceptual
understanding of the theory learned in class (Basic & Almuslim, 2021;
