A DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH 4

I. Objectives: At the end of 50 minutes, the pupils will be able to:


a. identify the proper and common nouns;
b. share the importance of proper and common nouns for everyday life; and
c. list down examples of common and proper nouns.
Values Integration: Giving importance of applying small and capital letters on the beginning of each names/ideas.

Teacher’s Activities Pupils’ Activities

1. Review

wants to read the conversation between Ben and his
dad? ” - The teacher will call one boy and one girl in
the class.

Liza: Oh, Daddy, I’m so excited to see Lolo and


Lola. I’m also eager to see Manila.
Daddy: There are many places to see in Manila
Liza: Really! What are those places?
Daddy: On our way, we will pass by Alabang,
Sucat, Taguig, Makati and Pasay.
Liza: Are there factories and big buildings?
Daddy: Of course, there are. There are also many
people, hospitals and schools. There are
animals at the zoo.
Liza: Mom, will we visit the Manila Zoo?
Daddy: Yes, we will

Now class, I will group you into 2 groups this will be
the group1 and this will be the group 2, all you need to
do group 1 is to think of 5 common nouns and for
group 2 is to think 5 proper nouns and after that you
will exchange the words you thought and write the
corresponding common and proper noun, by that you
will complete the table.
