Sewage:
The waste water from houses,
schools, shops, offices and
factories is called sewage.
Distillation:
The separation of a liquid from a
mixture by boiling the mixture and
then condensing and cooling the
vapours.
Desalination:
The removal of salt from the sea
water is called desalination.
Biodegradable:
Substances which can be broken
down by the natural processes of
decay are known as
biodegradable.
