To whom it may concern,

I Gwyneth Palatolon, a student of UM Tagum College and is taking the NSTP 1 under
the supervision of Mr. Jonathan Cordovan is writing a Letter of Appeal regarding the
increasing drug growth in our community.

Nowadays, youths are more likely engage with something new for themselves. I’ve
witnessed a hit of drug abuse in our country where it began to have a better awareness
of our country’s current situation. Year’s goes by, more people are getting involved with
drug addiction and most likely a lot of them are victims. What could possibly goes wrong
if this continue to spike our future generations? Think about the lives of every people,
we are born in this planet with a purpose to ourselves and to everyone. We are called
by God and our fate is not just being wasted. We all wish a life that is peaceful and
harmonious and not miserable.

I’ve come to look for ways to lessen the drug problem in our community and grant this
letter of appeal to help the youth who are in need with encouragement and guidance. It
would be a big change to have our youth settled with their goals in life. Give them
medical treatment they deserve, guidance and counselling, give them support by
sending them to rehabilitation centers and lastly, make it more difficult for the youth to
engage with drugs. Drugs are everywhere, illegal and abusive drugs that might kill the
lives of our future generations. We need to discourage everyone, victims, users or
someone who is curious with drugs what is the possible effect of these dangerous drugs
to their lives.

Those are just possible or simplest ways I can give to reach out the drug users and
victims. It’s truly an honor to have you read my letter of appeal. All of this is for the
betterment of every individuals, community, society and our country. Thank you for your
time and consideration.

Sincerely yours,
Gwyneth Palatolon
