Abstract

The world has now entered the realm of Society Era 5.0, an era in which humans can live side
by side with technological developments. Along with the development of the times, of
course, the greater the challenges faced, one of which is a moral problem or what is
commonly called morality. Morals themselves are an element of character building in each
individual. Related to this, efforts to make akhlaq or morals as a unified whole, or called
akhlaq integration are definitely needed, especially the integration of akhlaq as a form of
filter in the Society era. There is no doubt that every development of the times and
technology must have a negative impact that we cannot close our eyes to, therefore the
discourse of 'Integration of Morals in Character Formation as a Form of Filter in the Era of
Society' becomes very important. This study is a library research using a qualitative
descriptive method. This article includes an explanation of the development of morality in the
era of society as well as problems related to morality brought about by this era. In addition,
the form of morality as character formation, such as: resignation, endeavor, patience, and
gratitude is also explained as a form of material enrichment of these morals. In fact, the
integration of morality in the formation of student character is an important thing, especially
as a form of filter in the era of society. There is no doubt that the Society's era had a big
impact on moral change, and moral integration was the answer.

Introduction

Quoting KPAI (Indonesian Child Protection Commission) records, that the crime rate
involving school students reached 3339 crime cases, 62 percent of which led to immoral acts.
Likewise now criminal cases such as klitih, brawls are rife in Indonesia. In fact, to shake his
head is an immoral case committed by a first-grade elementary school student with a
kindergarten theme. So dilapidated is the morale of the nation's generation, the generation of
hope to continue a better country. What happens if there is no prevention, in the Constitution
regarding the purpose of education. Mentioned to educate the nation with various supporting
activities.

However, this is not sufficient considering the greater the challenges and the easier it
is for foreign influences to become a practical problem faced today. The importance of
revitalizing the formation of character that is integrated with morality in the 5.0 era or
society. How to revolutionize or accelerate the focus of character building from an early age.
As Japanese schools teach manners at the elementary level. Indonesia as a country upholds
good manners, requires massive efforts from the government to succeed in character building
at all levels of education. It is very urgent how the government, as the general public, has the
power to regulate the course of education in Indonesia.

One of the concrete actions that the government can take is to integrate morals that
contain noble values in character building, the detailed meaning of which is by procuring
school activities to grow the character itself. The big role of the teacher as a student model
who imitates his behavior, as well as all school elements such as school gardens, TU staff are
able to create a conducive environment in character building. In essence, character building is
a primary need that requires continuous, massive efforts to succeed. That's because character
building was an old effort during the Old Order and the New Order era to control the nation's
generation, according to Pancasila values. For this reason, the author wants to realize the
formation of character that is integrated with morality in the era of society with a deep
understanding so that it gives an idea of how to succeed without being limited by time.
