Hi! My name’s Fiona. January 1 is New Year’s Day in the United Kingdom, where I’m from. It’s a holiday,
but it’s not a party. The party is on December 31 in the evening. It’s called New Year’s Eve. It’s my
favourite day!
New Year’s Eve in London is fantastic! It’s a big celebration for everyone, young and old. In London and
the towns and cities of Britain, families and their friends and people from all over the world are in the
