Your Stay

While we know that your visit to is in so many ways what you make it,
we want to make sure you have what you need to have the best time
you can. Our fully featured kitchen (gas stovetop, oven, refrigerator,
microwave, coffeemaker, dishes, cookware, and silverware) offer you
all the flexibility of your kitchen at home. Bring whatever you’d like to
cook and you’ll find a kitchen up to the challenge. Please note, due to
the natural beauty of the property (large trees), there is little or no cell
phone reception inside the cabin and limited reception outside. We
provide bed and bath linens (set of 7).

What We Provide
A basic list of what you will find in your cabin is:

 stovetop/oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, refrigerator

 Clothes washer and dryer
 cooking utensils, dishes, pots, and pans
 charcoal grill, charcoal and lighter
 salt, pepper, seasoned salt, vegetable oil, microwave popcorn
 7 sets of bath towels and wash cloths
 coffee, coffee filters; must bring your own coffee creamer and sugar
 bedding (one set each bed), dish towels, scotch brite scrubbers,
sponges, and dish soap
 DVD player. There is no broadcast or cable reception
 toilet paper, paper towels & napkins, trash bags
 firewood is available for your outdoor fire pit or indoor wood burning
stove
 clay targets and thrower – we have a nice area for trap shooting if so
desired. Pick up your empty shells and boxes.

What You Should Bring

Consider your cabin an extension of your home. Whatever you would
have at home for a special occasion is perfect for your cabin in
Marseilles!

 groceries and spices for cooking

 coffee cream or creamer, sugar
 bath towels and wash cloths (we provide a limited 7 set supply)
 shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, curling iron, clothes iron if needed
  bottled drinking water – our water is safe and tested, but some people
may not like the well water flavor. Due to irregular use, the water does
have a distinct smell.
 food storage containers, baggies, aluminum foil, or cling wrap (if
planning on cooking)
 bug spray
 your favorite DVDs
 shotgun for trap shooting if so inclined

What to Expect
Expect privacy, no neighbors, wonderful sleep, fresh air, and fantastic
memories. Come play in our 25 acre backyard and explore the woods. Don’t
get lost!
