Formula One

Good morning to all, my name is Matias Agama, and I am from travellers.

Today I am going to talk about Formula One

Firstable, I am going to give you some facts about Formula One

In one season there are 10 teams and 2 pilots for each team

The champion of the last season is Max Verstappen defeating Lewis Hamilton in the final lap

Five famous brands of cars compete in Formula One, those are Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin,
Mercedes and Alfa Romeo

There are three main flags, the first one and the most common, the yellow flag that means
warning for the pilots, the second one is the red flag, that means that the race is stopped for a
short time and the last one is the squares flag, that means that the race finished

The season 2022 is going to lasts 9 months with 23 circuits in different countries

Monoplaza is the official name of the race car, and I am going to talk about the characteristics
of it, starting for its weight, that is 700kg, the engine is a v6 of 1.6 liters that produce 1000
horsepower at 15000 rpm

The brakes are something incredible because they can stop the car from 320 km/h to 0 in 4
seconds and these brakes are done in carbon fiber so the maximum temperature that the
brakes can resist is 1100 degrees

The wheels are very important in a Formula One race, there are three types of them, the first
one is the soft wheel that is the fastest but is the less resistant, it only lasts for 17 to 19 laps,
the second one is the medium wheel that lasts 28 laps, it is not too fast but it resists more than
the soft wheel and finally the hard wheel that is the slower but the more resistant and lasts 48
laps

Thank you Resistant = resistant
