Strengths:

Sufficient Resources: LGU has three computer units and a WIFI unit which has a
relatively fast speed.
Adaptiveness: LGU can adapt to the changes that occur over the years. It also
considers or act upon public opinion.
Local Knowledge: Barangay leaders and employees have a thorough awareness of
the demands and difficulties faced locally.
Timely and Regular Data Updates: Barangay LGU conducts census every 6
months.
Reliable: The LGU has a strong data security and privacy measures. Only
authorized personnel can access the information of the citizens.
Weaknesses
Budget and Resources: Barangays often have limited financial and human resources.
•Initial Transition - from manual to digital system as staff member adapt to the new
process.
•Infrastructures limitations - such as unreliable connectivity and capacity of computer
•Technical Challenges - addressing technical issues could be challenging
•Data Security Concerns - Protecting sensitive resident data is critical to avoiding
breaches or misuse

Opportunities:
Strategic Alliances: The LGU is not being left behind because they are in contact
with the other barangays.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: They use data, opinions and comments from
citizens to make decisions.
Access to Information: Leveraging communication networks and technology can
improve access to information for residents, enhancing transparency and
accountability in governance.
Integration of Database: The LGU is interested with the idea of using a database
for a more organized data and easier access to data.
Threats
Budget limits or cuts could impede system growth.
Privacy and Security: Issues relating to data security and privacy must be resolved.
Political instability: Changes in local or national politics may have an impact on the
system's priorities.
Lack of technical expertise: The barangay administration's lack of technological
experience may hinder system development, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This
may require more training or outsourcing, both of which can be expensive.
Monday, September 25,2023 we are assigned to interview a public official of
Malamig Bustos Baranggay Hall whose named (sec name). From there, we have prepared few
questions that emphasizes the possible strength or flaw of their system or service. The
Secretary have been cooperative and open in the conversation in which we are able to simply
identify the SWOT of their service, performance of the personnels and how do they manage
the data from the transaction.

From the 1st day we have met and talked to the baranggay till now specifically (Sec name) the
Malamig baranggay hall was warm and welcoming to us for them letting us conduct an
interview and provide such comfortable space as they gave us information that will be crucial
to the making of prototype that will be useful for them in the future.
