2022 GAPASCA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
The Applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Filipino citizen must have twelve years of schooling in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija,
Philippines

2. Income requirement: Combined gross income of parents/guardian not to exceed

200,000 pesos

3. A 2022 graduate in good standing from any high school in Gapan City

4. Grade Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85% or the equivalent

5. Must be of good moral character and citizenship.

6. Committed to the following career courses, in a full time student status,

in an accredited public college/university:
a. BSBA - Major in Accounting
b. BS in Architecture
c. BS in Engineering – Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical
d. BS in Agriculture
e. BS in Health Care – Nursing
f. BS in Information Technology

APPLICATION PROCESS:
The Applicant must submit the following documents on or before March 31, 2022.

1. Completed GAPASCA Scholarship Application Form

2. Certified copy of the Applicant’s birth certificate

3. Certified copies of 2020 and 2021 income tax return

4. Those exempted from filing income tax must have a certificate of tax exemption
from the BIR

5. Certified copy of high school report card for 11th and 12th year grading

6. A typed one-page, a single-spaced personal essay describing the Applicant’s

current and future commitment to attain a higher education

2022 GAPASCA Scholarship Program

7. Four character recommendations (two from teachers). Applicants must waive
the right to access these letters of recommendations

8. All qualified applicants are given an equal opportunity, and that selection
decision is based on the merit of the application.

9. Photo in portrait size. Use a solid color background for your picture.

10.Send via email the scholarship application and all supporting documents to:

papers on April 3, 2022

AWARD INFORMATION:
1. Scholarship recipients will receive a monetary award of a minimum of 20,000
pesos up to 40,000 pesos per school year towards tuition and school-related
expenses.

2. Second-semester payment is subject to student passing all the first semester

courses.

3. The student must provide a copy of the college registration showing courses and
fees. At the end of the semester, the student must provide a certified copy of a
college transcript.

4. The monetary award is for one year only; the student must re-apply for
succeeding years.

5. The student must participate in future GAPASCA events held in Gapan City.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:
1. The application must be submitted on or before March 31, 2022.

2. The application will be reviewed by the GAPASCA Scholarship Committee, and

documents are subject to verification.

3. Qualified applicants will be notified by email on April 8, 2022.

4. Misleading information will permanently ban the Applicant from the program.

5. Incomplete applications or applications with information not meeting the

eligibility requirements will not be considered for review.

Being a Public Information Officer (PIO) of our school whom deliver information to the
students, having a good moral and right conduct is required to influence and take
students' trust. Be a good example whose ready to serve and provide projects of
school. Also informing representatives when there's a program and activities of school
can help the teachers' minimize their tasks. Thus, some difficulties may face at the
beginning but with the support of organization and trusting in your abilities can be
impactful to be responsible in everything should do.

Proven on Covid-19 pandemic that healthcare professionals are one of the most
indemand jobs nowadays, Philippines are still lacking of its healthcare professionals
for the reason of circumstances that many of our nurses go abroad for great salary.
Moreover, due to desire to work as a valuable citizen of this society, this commited me
to strengthen my purpose to become a nurse.

Apparently nursing is not actually my first choice to attain in college due to financial
