What is the 3D prainting?

3D printing is the process of creating objects by depositing material in layers one on top of the
other. It is called additive manufacturing and replaces processes such as milling when the shape of
the object is complex. The technology was invented in the early 1980s.

How 3D printing Works?

you have to create a digital model that will be cut using software to export it in a file that the
printer can read. The layers will be slices that have the shape of the cut section.

Types of 3D printing

We can have different types of printing and each has its own advantages and disadvantages, these
are: Fused filament manufacturing(uses dilament coils), Stereolithography, uses photosensitive
resin, powder bed fusion, fuses plastic grains with a laser and jetting of binder material, plastic
grains bonded together by a glue.

Why use 3D printing?

You can produce complex designs, it is faster than other processes, you can make prototypes
which saves time for companies, wide range of materials to print.

What do you print with 3D printing?

You can print any object with this manufacturing process, as long as you can design it you can do
it, actually you can print with almost any material.
