• Max 2 marks per lecture
• Make a remark, answer or ask a question will get 1 mark
• Raise question or make a remark via WhatsApp, Wechat or
email will get 1 mark (max)
• Chance of getting participation mark: When the response is
overwhelming and it simply does not have time for
everyone, simply putting up your hand alone will have a
chance to get 1 mark (if I remember)

INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT (30%)

Topic: The strategy you will take (or have taken) in keeping your
competitiveness in the job market in today’s rapid development of
technology
• A written report with less than 800 words
• Deadline – Week 11 on 1 Nov
• Late submission - 5% deduction on your marks per day of
delay
GROUP PROJECT (30%)
• group of 4 to 5
• choose one of the companies listed in China, Hong Kong, Singapore or
United States (one company per group, 1st-come-1st-serve)
I. Part 1 (10%): identify the technologies that could affect the
company significantly in the next 5 year, and present (5-10 mins)
your findings on 4 Oct in Week 7
II. Part 2 (20%): present (5 – 10 mins) your recommended solutions to
that company with supporting arguments on 15 Nov in Week 13
• Each member must appear in at least one presentation
• Your ppts with notes (less than 2000 words)
• Deadline – 5 Oct and 14 Nov
• Late submission: 5% discount on your marks per day of delay
