Chief of Staff participates in defence industry exhibition ‘EDEX’ inauguration

HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel al-Nabit participated in the inauguration of the 3rd International Defence Industry Exhibition ‘EDEX’ in Egypt. On
the sidelines of the exhibition, HE al-Nabit met with Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Egypt Lieutenant-General Osama Askar. He also visited Panorama October Museum. The inauguration, the meeting, and the visit
were attended by a number of senior officers of the Qatar Armed Forces. (QNA)

A delegation from the Milipol Qatar Committee visited the 3rd Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX
2023) organised from Dec 4-7. The visit was part of the preparation and promotion for the
Milipol Qatar 2024 exhibition, scheduled for Oct 29-31, 2024. The delegation was briefed on

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in
a statement that Qatar hosted six chil-
dren with their parents and legal guard-
ians in the Qatari embassy in Moscow,
and accompanied them to their desti-
nations ensuring their safety and well-
being.
The statement renewed Qatar’s sin-
cere gratitude and appreciation to the
authorities of Ukraine and Russia for
their co-operation and commitment to
the safety and security of these children,
and providing the appropriate care for
them during the operation and before
that.
The ministry also expressed Qatar’s
thanks to Commissioner for Children’s
Rights under the President of the Rus-
sian Federation Maria Lvova-Belova,
Commissioner for Human Rights in the
Ukrainian Parliament Dmytro Lubinets
for their co-operation in that regard.
Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to
supporting the efforts made by both the
states of Ukraine and Russia to reunify
separated families and protect the rights
and well-being of the children affected
by the ongoing conflict, it stressed its
commitment to facilitating the reunifi-
cation of children with their families in a
safe and rapid manner in all aspects.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
stressed that the success of this opera-
tion reflects Qatar’s international cred-
ibility with various parties, its perma-
nent commitment to promoting peace,
security and stability in the region and
the world, and its readiness to play a
constructive and effective role in the
various crises and conflicts that the

Qatar, Seychelles sign MoU in aviation

Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) held bilateral discussions with its counterpart in
Ghana during the meetings of the International Conference on Air Services Negotiations The civil aviation authorities of Qatar

Qatar, Togo sign up on

final air services pact

The final signing ceremony of the air services agreement

between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Togo was
held yesterday, on the sidelines of the meetings of the
International Conference on Air Services Negotiations (ICAN
2023) held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The agreement was
signed by Mohamed Faleh al-Hajri, in charge of managing
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), on behalf of the Qatari side and
Deputy Director-General of the National Civil Aviation Agency
Col Bararmna Boukpessi Djoguigou, on behalf of the Togo
side. Following the signing ceremony, the two sides discussed
ways to strengthen and upgrade bilateral relations in civil
aviation between the two countries. (QNA)
