Perquisites for learning Italian

1. Passive immersion- “QVC ITALIA PODCAST CHANNEL”- listen

without understanding 4-8 hour per day
2. Active immersion- you listen and actually try to understand- spend
whole week on same content
3. Learn Grammar in your native language

Notes:
1. The letters a, i and u are always pronounced in the same way, which is
why they are called “one-sound vowels”, whereas e and o each have a
so-called “closed sound” and “open sound”, making them “two-sound
vowels”. A grave accent (è / ò) always tells you the vowel is open
whereas the acute accent (é) tells you it is closed.
2. Italian does have only 2 genders- Masculine end with “-o” or a
consonant and Feminine end with “-a” or an accented vowel.
