ADMISSIONS
Certificate in Medical Teaching
The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore offers a certificate course for medical
teachers. The objective is to give medical teachers basic knowledge, skills and competence
for a successful medical teaching career. The course shall be offered at University of Health
Sciences Lahore and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Medical College, Mirpur AJK.

DURATION:
The six months programme will be taught in two blocks of four days each at the University of
Health Sciences and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Medical College, Mirpur AJK.
There will be an interval of approximately three (03) months between the two blocks.
During this interval, the students are required to submit online assignments to their
mentors. The attendance in these sessions and proof of assignments in the form of
portfolio is MANDATORY.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
The applicant must be working as a Lecturer, Registrar, Senior Registrar, Demonstrator or
Assistant / Associate / Professor in a medical or dental college or in a teaching hospital in
Pakistan.

COURSE FEE
1. University of Health Sciences, Lahore
The course fee is Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only), to be deposited at the
start of the course.

2. Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Medical College, Mirpur AJK

The course fee is Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty Thousand only), to be deposited at the
start of the course.

ADMISSION PROCESS
1. The candidates desirous of admission must apply through proper channel on the prescribed
application form available at UHS website www.uhs.edu.pk. They will have to give their
choice for UHS, Lahore or Mirpur AJK.
2. The application form along with the attested copies of certificates, testimonials, CNIC and
three passport size colour photographs must reach the office of Director (Admin & HR), UHS
on or before 25th October, 2021 for Mipur AJK and 15th November, 2021 for UHS,
Lahore, by 05:00 PM.
 3. The tentative dates for the 1st contact session are as follows:

4. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, if required.

CERTIFICATE
On successful completion of the course, UHS will award a certificate to the candidate.
