Project Title: "Cans and Coins, Foods for Kids: Empowering Through Nutrition at Cadre Site Day
Care Center"
Project Objective:
The objective of this project is to provide healthy and nutritious food for the children attending
the Cadre Site Day Care Center. It aims to strengthen the nutrition and empowerment of the
children by providing them with nutrient-rich meals and educating them about proper nutrition.
Project Activities:
2. Expansion of Nutrition Education: Nutrition education sessions will be conducted to teach the
children about the importance of healthy eating habits and the benefits of consuming a
balanced diet. This will be done through interactive activities, games, and discussions.
3. Implementation of a Balanced Meal Plan: A balanced meal plan will be implemented, ensuring
that each child receives a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy
products. Special attention will be given to catering to any dietary restrictions or allergies.
4. Collaboration with Local Suppliers: Efforts will be made to collaborate with local suppliers to
source fresh and locally produced ingredients for the meals. This will support the local economy
and promote sustainable food practices.
5. Monitoring and Evaluation: The project will be monitored and evaluated regularly to assess its
effectiveness in improving the children's nutrition and overall well-being. Feedback from parents,
caregivers, and the children themselves will be taken into consideration for further
improvements.
By implementing this project, we aim to empower the children at the Cadre Site Day Care Center
with the knowledge and resources to make healthier food choices and improve their overall
nutrition. We believe that through proper nutrition, we can positively impact their growth,
development, and future well-being.
