IAC Electricals has undertaken several social initiatives to uplift the well-being of 6 villages surrounding its operations where 80% of inhabitants live below the poverty line, including regular eye camps that have provided over 1500 free eye exams and hundreds of free or low-cost pairs of glasses, as well as flood relief through distribution of tents, food, and rebuilding houses, and a drinking water project that has benefitted over 300 families.

IAC Electricals joined hands to elevate the well-being of 6 adjoining villages
with several camps and relief measures. 80% of the inhabitants in these areas are below the poverty line. From 2012 onwards, we have strived to uplift these villages.
REGULAR EYE CAMPS
1. 1500 free eye examinations conducted
2. 84 free eye microsurgeries Performed600 spectacles given at minimum cost 3. 600 spectacles provided at a minimal cost 4. Free medicines distributed
FLOOD RELIEF
1. Distributed 90 water tents
2. Distributed half week’s worth of food to 210 families & provided free food to 500 people 3. Rebuilt the houses of 35 needy families
DRINKING WATER PROJECT
1. Provided 100% certified drinking
water to villagers 2. 338 families benefitted 3. Water pipeline covering approx 10kms in 5 villages
