STATEMENTOFPURPOSE

I am Md Latiful Kabir, citizen of Bangladesh born on 23rd January, 2003, passport number
A07733797. I am looking forward to have a Bachelor degree of Accounting at the University of
Tasmania, Australia because of their vibrant lifestyle and culture with long history of providing
quality research and work-ready graduates. My father Md Zakir Hossain is a well-known
businessman and My mother Mst Lutfun Nahar is a devoted housewife.

My both education according to the Bangladeshi education system from north part of
Bangladesh where global business is exploring. I have passed my Secondary School Certificate
(SSC) exam with a major in science in 2019 from BP Government High School, Panchagarh,
Bangladesh and I have achieved GPA 4.28 on a scale out of 5. After that, I have completed
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam with a major in Commerce in 2021 with a GPA of 4.67
out of 5 from Cantonment Public School and College, Rangpur. Due to the epidemic of Corona
virus delayed my HSC results, finally published in 2022. In the same year in 2022 I got admitted
to the Rangpur Carmichael College under National University for graduation with an accounting
subject which I am continuing. Besides this without any gap to pursue my higher studies in
Australia I did some English courses and my PTE test score 6.00 in each band.

I chose not to further study in my home country because its tertiary education is mainly theory-
based. There is no scope for practical-based education in universities. Furthermore, most of the
public universities have session jams due to political and other problems. On the other hand,
Australia offers high-quality education, the ESOS Act, a high standard of living, cultural diversity,
friendly natives, innovative and practical learning, and unique teaching methods. The
Undergraduate program at the University of Tasmania aligns perfectly with my academic and
career goals. Moreover it’s practical approach, comprehensive curriculum, and internship
opportunity will undoubtedly contribute to my growth as an accounting professional, preparing
me to thrive in the dynamic field of accounting and pursue future endeavors with confidence.

After completing my graduate program in accounting in Australia, my future plan is to return to

Bangladesh. I aim to get a job with a top position in a reputable accounting firm or financial
institution such as Bangladesh Bank, British American Tobacco Bangladesh, Unilever Bangladesh,
Bashundhara Group.
