PLEDGE OF LOYALTY

If you work for a man, in heaven’s name, work for him, speak well
of him, and stand by the institution that he represents. Remember, an
ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness. If you must growl,
condemn and eternally find fault. Why resign your position and when you
are on the outside, damn to your heart’s contempt. But for as long as
you are a part of this institution, do not condemn it.

If you do, the first high wind that comes along will blow you away
and probably, you’ll never know why.

CADET HONOR CODE

A cadet will not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate those who do.

11 GENERAL ORDERS

1. To take charge of this post and all government property in view.

2. To walk my post in a military manner, keeping always on the alert,
and observing everything that takes place within sight or hearing.
3. To report all violations of orders I am instructed to enforce.
4. To repeat all calls from posts more distant from the guard house
than my own.
5. To quit my post only when properly relieved.
6. To receive, obey, and pass on to the sentry who relieves me all
orders from the Commanding Officer, Command Duty Officer,
Officer of the Deck, and Officers and Petty Officers of the Watch
only.
7. To talk to no one except in the line of duty.
8. To give the alarm in case of fire or disorder.
9. To call the Officer of the Deck in any case not covered by
instructions.
10. To salute all officers and colors and standards not cased.
11. To be especially watchful at night and during the time for
challenging, to challenge all persons on or near my post, and to
allow no one to pass without proper authority.

largest return for the last effort of anything one can do. In military life
where individual were required to live and work together more ultimately
than a civilian life and cooperative effort is all important.
Courtesy is the vital importance in promoting coordination and
developing a proper.

Is the ability to influence others directing them toward the accomplishment

of a mission.

We, the members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines,

imploring enlightenment from Almighty God, in order to achieve and
maintain a professional organization worthy of public trust and respect,
faithful to the constitutional mandate as protector of the people, the
sovereignty of the state, democratic institutions and the integrity of the
national territory, freely and collectively commit as our way of life, to
abide by and adhere to the provisions of this Code of Conduct and
Ethical Standards, which we hereby do ordain.
