Training Needs Assessment of LGUs on the Project Management of Local

Infrastructure

Purpose: The purpose of this training needs assessment is to determine the training
requirements of local governments that are essential in ensuring the smooth delivery
of basic services particularly on infrastructure management.

The result of this assessment will help the DILG trough the OPDS and the regional
offices to categorize the training needs of LGUs - as to type, the grouping of LGUS
with similar needs, the provision of appropriate interventions to equip the LGUs, and
the nature of Technical Assistance through collaboration with other NGAs and
experts (entities).

We do encourage our local officials and functionaries to accomplish the template

provided and answer all the questions as objective as you can. Rest assured that all
information to be generated form this exercise will be treated in strict confidence.
