SUBJECT : Spot Report re Shooting Incident that Resulted to the Death of CADOR VAEZ

DATE : March 09, 20231.

2. On March 09, 2023 at about 11:00 o’clock in the morning a shooting incident transpired at
Purok 2, Tupi South Cotabato, Poblacion wherein victim one Cador Vaez, 38 years old, married, laborer,
and a resident Purok 2, Tupi South Cotabato, Poblacion of was shot by suspect Zunio Barak, 40 years
old, married, farmer, and a resident of the same place. As a result, thereof, the victim sustained multiple
gunshot wounds in the different parts of the body and was rushed to Hospital, Poblacion Tupi for
medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician thereat. The
suspect was arrested at his house during hot-pursuit operation conducted, but the weaponused in the
commission of the crime was not recovered and he is now under the custody of this station for
investigation andproper disposition. The cadaver of the victim was moved to General Santos city
Laboratory Office,for autopsy examination

3.The motive of incident is undetermined and the case still under investigation.
