    When I was in my third year of high school.

    When it comes time to choose a high school club, I'm thinking of choosing STEM instead of HUMSS.

    This is because almost all of my friends are in STEM, and if I choose HUMSS, I may become estranged
    and never see my friends again.

    As I reflected on this experience, I realized that I had fallen into groupthink.

    Fortunately, by then I had changed my perspective.

    My strategy to approach this issue is to choose a HUMSS field that I really want to pursue and make
    decisions based on my values and beliefs.
