Summary

on 12 October 2023.

Description:
Document on paper support, vertical format, printed and handwritten. It presents printed text in the upper
part "DOS REALES / Sello Quinto, para los años de / 1830, y 1831", below a printed rubric; on the left
side, a round stamp printed with a double border, inside is the image of the National Coat of Arms
surrounded by the inscription "REPUBLICA PERUANA". The document on its right side shows the
incomplete application that Fray Mariano Eugenio Meneses submitted to the judge José Manuel de
Villaverde, regarding the enjoyment of a chaplaincy; on the same side, there is a decree of the law judge,
issued in Lima on 28 February 1831, the certification and notification of the notary public Gerónimo de
Villafuerte. On the verso side continues the notification from Villafuerte to Francisco Carrillo, dated 12
March 1831. Fair state of preservation, damp and fungal stains, binding marks, needle and thread marks,
evidence of having been removed from its original file.
