Student Honors Recital at the 2022 PPI Summer Festival

Summer Performance Opportunity!

We want to celebrate talented piano students, dedicated teachers, and passionate amateur pianists by
giving them a stage on which to share their beautiful music! Participants will be chosen by an application
and audition (via video recording) process and given the opportunity to perform their chosen program
with others during the one-hour recital on July 30.

Applicant categories
• Elementary I (grades 1-3, as of September 1, 2022)
o 1 performer chosen with 3-4 minute maximum time limit
• Elementary II (grades 4-5, as of September 1, 2022)
o 1 performer chosen with 3-4 minute maximum time limit
• Junior (grades 6-8, as of September 1, 2022)
o I performer chosen with 6-8 minute maximum time limit
• High School (grades 9-12, as of September 1, 2022)
o 1 performer chosen with 8-10 minute maximum time limit
• College Student (as of September 1, 2022)
o 1 performer chosen with 10-minute maximum time limit
• Amateur Pianist (all ages)
o 1 performer chosen with 10-minute maximum time limit

Application fee: $25

Deadline for application and video: Midnight, April 28, 2022
Notification of selections: May 26, 2022
Repertoire type: Piano solo, two pianos, or one-piano four hands
Video requirements: Must be of the exact program the applicant wants to perform at the recital and
within the length requirements stated above
