I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Mackenzie Triscik, and I am writing to express my
interest in the summer 2024 communication internship position at Downtown Indy, Inc.
As a Butler student majoring in Marketing and Minoring in strategic communications, I am
excited about the opportunity to contribute to the marketing and communications department at
Downtown Indy, Inc. I have experience with some of the skills and experiences outlined in the
internship description. My background includes serving as the Vice President of Marketing for
Smiles for Miles, a care package company. In this role, I successfully leveraged various social
media platforms to promote our products and established and maintained an updated
website.Additionally, I possess hands-on experience in data analytics for comprehensive research
tracking.
I am particularly drawn to Downtown Indy, Inc.'s commitment to a flexible work schedule,
offering a balance between in-office and virtual work, which aligns with my academic course
load. I am eager to apply my organizational skills, creativity, and strong oral and written
communication abilities to support the marketing and communications goals of Downtown Indy,
Inc.
