Dear Parents/Carers
It was lovely to meet some new families at our Open day event. There were many comments on the exciting Maths Morning and the beautiful autumn displays around school. Thank you to parents and governors who came to support this event. It is a great opportunity to come and see the school in action. Many parents came to support the Picnic Lunchtime event on Friday and shared books with their children despite the cooler weather! There has been some sad news this week as Sue Lafford has decided it is time to reduce her work commitments and will be retiring from her role as Lunchtime Supervisor on Friday 2nd December 2011. Sue has been a member of staff for many years here at St Christophers and her leaving will mark the end of an era. Details about a celebration to mark Sues long service at the school will follow shortly.
