REFLECTION

CHRISTIAN EMPHASIS WEEK

By: Maxenne Zoe D. Pelaez BSSW-1

Christian Emphasis Week, or CEW, was a week filled with revelations and insights for me.
Everything that occurred from the beginning of the week to the finish was unexpected and a
whole new experience for me, but it also helped me discover a lot of things, most notably
about my spiritual self. I saw the dedication of the Filipino people to serving God in even the
most basic ways. Additionally, I saw that the gospel of the Almighty Father enlightened
people rather than encouraging them to follow a certain religion. One of the most important
events that FCU students participate in is the CEW. It's good to know that even with
everyone's hectic schedules, even so, the academic staff, instructors, and students schedule
time for those kinds of spiritual meetings. Since college life is getting harder, the activity
helps other students and me stay focused and strengthen our faith. Personally, I have spent a
great deal of time participating in activities that have helped me gain knowledge, skills, and
physical fitness through attending seminars, schools, and other educational settings.
Nevertheless, I still feel lost and empty at the end of the day. So that, I tend to engaged in
some talks, bible groups, and the like, to be close and even to become closer to Him, but I
just ended up from what I have bren before But as it was said “A friend is always loyal, and a
brother is born to help in time of need.” - Proverbs 17:17 (NLT) We can't say that a friend you
always loyal, because there are some friend which only takin advantage, as long as they need
us, they're always these but if they get what they want, they will slowly disappear . Yes , there
are friends that are loyal and you are very lucky to have one. If you have, keep and treasure
that kind of person. Our brother is always our in time if we need him. Theirs a saying " blood
you thicker than water ",and our brother can't allow to someone will hurt us.as well as Dear
friends, let us continue to love one another, far love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a
child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is
love. - 1 John 4:7-8. Love is the grateful gift from God. Lets love one another to have peace
and safe surrounding . Showing home to other its like you show love on God , loving to the
most needly people is showing you this to our Lord. Just continue loving even they don't
give back to you.
In the day one Pastor Rodel Obed Dianala said “ ANG GUGMA SANG DIYOS KNOWS
NO BOUND” Ang gugma sa dios knows no bounds. Yes its very true, its heartless unending,
indifinite, unmemorable. Just have faith, believe and atrong determination because God is
always in this perfect thing to grant of what we prayed for.
Day two Pastor Romela Kim Java said “ A RELATIONSHIP WILL WORK IF GOD IS IN IN
THE CENTER OF IT” Put God in the center in every relationship because God will do the
rest. Our God is our ultimate guidance , ask his blessing in every moment we do because he
will guides us flow by flow to let read of what we aimed for. She also said ‘’LOVING
OTHERS IS AN OVERFLOW OF GOD’S LOVE IN YOUR LIFE” Love they neighbors as
you love yourself' It means let lend to the most needly people because they need us, what we
did to them, it's like we did it to our Lord. If we did good to our neighbors our Lord will give
back a hundredfolds.
In the last day, Pastor Bhart Natuel said, “HAVING A RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH
JESUS WILL LEAD YOU TO LOVE OTHERS AND WILL ULTIMATELY LEAD YOU
TO LOVE YOURSELF.” So let’s love and make right relationship to our God because he is
our only savior and provider.
Christian Emphasis Week has also taught me that I won't have to worry about anything if I
simply give my life to Christ, who is the world's greatest savior. I also learned from the
exercise that learning to reject evil and wickedness is a necessary part of following Jesus.
Being a relationship with Jesus would result in our provision, defense, and salvation
