Year 3 Home Learning Plan Term 2 Week 2

Guiding question Consideration and ideas

What are the students going to learn? The students will continue to participate in learning that was planned for Term 1. These tasks are
similar to those that would have been completed in class and contributes to the achievement of
our syllabus outcomes.

How are they going to learn it? Outlined below is a weekly learning plan that students are required to complete. We will use
Google Classroom to communicate with students about their daily learning. The students will
complete activities in their English, Maths and Work books.

How will teachers ‘check in’ with students? Teachers will post all tasks on Google Classroom. Teachers will regularly monitor Google
Classroom to answer any and all questions that students may have.

Collecting evidence of student learning Students will be required to post specific work. These tasks have been highlighted purple below
(Verification) and will be used as an assessment of student learning. We understand that some tasks will
require parent support and guidance, however we have tried to keep activities as independent as
possible and consistent with routines in class for familiarity.

Feedback (Evaluation) Teachers will provide students with feedback on learning tasks, however we understand that this
will require parent support so this will be kept minimal.

Communication Teachers will be available during school hours on Google Classroom for any questions.

Useful educational websites:

Students can visit these educational websites to supplement their learning. Students will have some of these accounts set up and some will need to be
set up by a parent. (It is strongly recommended that all students be supervised when accessing the internet).
