I. Introduction
Denpasar City as a city with cultural perspective has become
necessity to create an image of city that is clean, beautiful and
beautiful through the physical form of buildings to the existence of
rivers. Denpasar City is one of the cities traversed by major rivers in A
Bali, including tukad oongan, which has the potential for river
pollution, siltation of rivers and soil erosion. In order to provide a
solution to these problems, an effort can be made, one of which is
through the arrangement of the Oongan Tukad dam area with an
urban conservation and recreation approach. B

II. Research Methods C

The research method uses a qualitative approach by trying to provide

the concept of regional arrangement through inputs from the local
community through interview and Focus Discussion group methods.
The stages of the design process follow Bell's (2005) method which Figure 1. A, B, C

The results of the study show that efforts to conserve

soil, especially erosion control can be done by installing
a combination of soil retaining wall combined with
gabion cages. Area planning begins by providing
recreational space by introducing site history, socio-
cultural areas, economic areas, and religious areas
