Artifact of the Month

Over the past few years, there has been a clear trend that SAP embraces open-
source technologies more and more. This development brings a need for a
growing number of utility packages that support developers, such as database
clients, authentication libraries, scaffoldings tools, and many more. SAP
Developer Advocate, Marius Obert, wants to introduce this in his latest blog post,
so you can check out a new open-source project that ranks the popularity of all
kinds of development artifacts monthly: The Artifact of the Month.

Leveraging the flexible programming model to extend your

SAP Fiori elements app
The flexible programming model makes it easy for you to extend apps based on
SAP Fiori elements for OData V4. While you’re free to use any SAPUI5 coding or
controls in extension points, you can also take advantage of our new building
blocks. Leveraging the building blocks gives you even more possibilities to adapt
your apps with a minimal amount of custom SAPUI5 coding. SAP Product
Manager, Stefanie Hager, gives you an overview of the flexible programming
model and point you to the relevant documentation, in this blog post. To learn
more about SAP Fiori, click here.
