ACCREDITATION OF CIVIL SOCIETY
ORGANIZATIONS OPERATING WITHIN THE
PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL MINDORO
RESOLUTION NO. 158
Series of 2019
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan knows the
advantages, benefits and privileges of the increasing number of
civil society organizations in the different growing sectors of our
province;
WHEREAS, this August body believes that we need to
strengthen the participation of CSOs in local governance and
development processes;
WHEREAS, in accordance to the Notice of Call for
Accreditation mentioned under Memorandum Circular No. 2019-
72 issued by the Department of Interior and Local Government:
GUIDELINES ON ACCREDITATION OF CIVIL SOCIETY
ORGANIZATIONS AND SELECTION OF
REPRESENTATIVES TO THE LOCAL SPECIAL BODIES,
this August body agrees to issue CERTIFICATE OF
ACCREDITATION to CSOs whose area of operations are
province-wide/nation-wide provided that they comply with the
administrative requirements and conditions;
WHEREAS, this body also agrees that CERTIFICATE
OF RECOGNITION will be issued to organizations whose area
of operations are only within a certain municipality whether they
meet all the requirements or satisfy all the requirements except
from registration;
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements and
conditions cited above, the following civil society organizations
will be accorded CERTIFICATE OF ACCREDITATION, viz;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of HON. ELEONOR B. FAJARDO, Chairman of

Committee on Local Government and HON. EMMANUEL R. ABELEDA, JR., Vice-Chairman
of Committee on Livelihood and Cooperatives duly seconded BY ALL MEMBERS PRESENT,
BE IT,

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan to APPROVE

THE APPLICATIONS FOR ACCREDITATION OF CIVIL SOCIETY
ORGANIZATIONS OPERATING WITHIN THE PROVINCE OF
OCCIDENTAL MINDORO.

LET COPY of this resolution be sent to the Office of the Governor, the Department of
Interior and Local Government, Region IV-B, the aforementioned Civil Society Organizations,
and other concerned offices for their information.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED.

Done on the 16th day of August 2019 during the 6 th Regular Session of the Sanggunian
Panlalawigan held at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall, SP Buiding, Provincial Capitol
Compound, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro.
