On behalf of the Rector, I would like to welcome you to the culture-based campus, Universitas Wijaya
Kusuma Surabaya.

Distinguished guests,
The visiting lecturer program, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, and the signing of
the Memorandum of Agreement today are all part of our efforts to strengthen international
cooperation. This is an important initiative that will help us to improve our academic standing and
gain additional points in our program accreditation assessments.

We hope that this program will be sustainable and that it will benefit all three pillars of higher
education: teaching, research, and community service. We are pleased to announce that the first
activities to be carried out under this agreement will be between the Faculty of Languages and
Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Research and Community Services UWKS, and
international office of UWKS.

We hope that other faculties at Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya will participate in future
activities with HCI Australia.

In conclusion, I hope that this event will be beneficial to all of us and that it will help us to improve
our skills and competencies.
