Restaurant review: Thai cuisine

A new Thai restaurant called Jasmine just opened its doors at the town centre a
few weeks ago. I decided to go with my friend to see if the offered an authentic
Thai experience for lunch.
When I arrived, I was not disappointed, the place definitely looks as though I had
just walked in a restaurant in Bangkok, with its bright colors and wonderful
ambiance. Even the waitress looked genuine, as she was wearing a Thai silk outfit,
and greeting us in the formal Thai language.
The menu was fairly limited, and mostly contained of the most popular Thai
dishes, so we opted for the lunchtime special of a starter, main course and desert.
First, we decided to share some spring rolls, which prove to be a good choice. For
the main course, we had a Thai green curry and a large bowl of Jasmine rice. The
curry was a little too spicy for me, but my friend thought it was spot on. After that
we ordered a bowl of tasty mango with sticky rice that finished off a memorable
lunch.
I think the price of the whole lunch was decent, in view of the quality of the food
that has been served.
I highly recommend this place for people who like to try different cuisines and
new flavors.
