MINUTES OF THE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE LUPONG TAGAPAMAYAPA OF BARANGAY

PUNIT, BENITO SOLIVEN, ISABELA HELD ON DECEMBER 9, 2022 AT 1:00 O’CLOCK IN THE
AFTERNOON AT BULWAGAN NG KATARUNGANG PAMBARANGAY

Preliminaries:

The meeting began at 1:00 in the afternoon with the opening prayer led by Lupon member
ANNIELICE RAMOS. Since majority attended the meeting, a quorum was established. Hon.
Punong Barangay MELCHOR V. LANGUIDO expressed her appreciation to all the members for
their attendance.

Meeting Proper:

1. PB MELCHOR V. LANGUIDO reminded the members of the Lupon to open their

communication lines at all times, in cases wherein they are needed for the conduct
of monitoring activities on the status of cases filed before the Katarungang
Pambarangay.

2. Lupon Secretary MARK ANTHONY R. PINEDA updated the members that there were
three (3) cases filed this month.

Lupon Member JAIME L. MAMAOAG suggested that there shall be at least two (2)
Lupon Members who shall conduct the visitation prior to the mediation proceedings.

The body unanimously agreed to this suggestion.

3. PB MELCHOR V. LANGUIDO solicited the opinion of the Lupon members if they want
to have an annual refresher on the concepts of KP, like the one they conducted on
March 14, 2022.

Lupon member LEO A. VIERNES said that this is a very nice practice since they will be
always reminded on the things that shall be observed in all the stages of the KP
process. Moreover, questions and clarifications will be addressed immediately during
the activity, which will be of great help in the performance of their mandated duties
and responsibilities.
 4. Lupon Member ANNIELICE RAMOS said that if the Barangay wants to contend again
for this year’s Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives and Awards (LTIA), preparations of
the needed documents shall be made as soon as possible. He also said that help can
be solicited from the Office of the Municipal Local Government Operations Officer in
order to improve the presentation of these documents during the evaluation.

Majority of the body agreed to this. As such, Lupon Chair MELCHOR V. LANGUIDO
directed Lupon Secretary MARK ANTHONY R. PINEDA to prepare and consolidate all
the needed documents and seek assistance from MLGOO Pacios for this.

5. Since there are no other matters to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 2:30 in the
afternoon.
