Arrangements to be made during programmes – Instructions

In the reference 1st cited, the Govt of AP has issued consolidated
guidelines on Observance of Protocol and extending prescribed courtesies by
the Government Officials while dealing with the Ministers / Members of
Parliament / State Legislature (MPs/MLCs/MLAs) and other VVIPs during
the functions organized by Government / Local Bodies and directed to follow
the instructions scrupulously on organizing functions, list of invitees and
other of the invitees on the card, names to be incorporated on the plaque
and seating plan on the dais for each level of function and directed to follow
the instructions scrupulously to avoid complaints on the non-observance of
protocol courtesies.
In the reference 2nd cited the Government has issued Guidelines
regarding Warrant of Precedence, Order of Precedence to be observed at
State Functions of the Government of Andhra Pradesh after consequent on
bifurcation of the State.
In the reference 3rd cited the Government has issued Guidelines
regarding the Chairperson / Chairmen / Vice-Chairperson / Vice-
Chairman / Directors / Members who were recently nominated to the
various Corporations / Boards / Authorities etc. at State/ Regional and
District level; be extended with normal protocol courtesies viz., inviting to the

State/public functions relating to official programmes in both State Capital /

Districts organized by the District Administration / Departments and other
courtesies as felt appropriate by the Administrative Departments from whom
their nominations were made.

In the reference 4th cited, the District Collector has issued Circular
Guidelines to all the District Officers/ Divisional Officers/ Mandal Level
Officers and directed to follow the instruction issued by the Government in

1st to 3rd cited scrupulously for maintain protocol rules on plaques /

invitation cards etc.,.
In view of the above, all the District Officers/ Divisional Officers/
Mandal Level Officers, all the Executive Officers and all the Designated
Members of Trust Board of the temples in the District are hereby
directed to follow the above instructions scrupulously in observing the
protocol to the Hon’ble Ministers / Members of Parliament / State
Legislature (MPs/MLCs/MLAs) and other VVIPs during the functions
organized by Government / Local Bodies, if any deviation found in this
regard will be treated seriously and action will be initiated against the
Officers concerned as per the rules in force., Copies of the Government

Orders mentioned in above 1st to 3rd references are herewith enclosed.
