Subject : SRC updates

‘’EDUCATION IS THE PASSPORT TO THE FUTURE, FOR TOMORROW BELONGS TO THOSE WHO
PREPARE FOR IT TODAY’. With this quote of Malcolm X, we would like to send our warm greetings to
all student of Mthatha Campus and compliments of the new year.

This communique seeks as an update on the following matters:

REGISTRATION.

As per the calendar year of the Institution, registration was to commences on the 10th of January 2023
which is today. Due to many reasons at hand being experienced by University and its system, especially
financially clearance, registration has been rescheduled to start next week Monday for returning
students. As the SRC we are still to have meetings with the Management of the Institution of which
we will give you full update on everything which is taking place on our beloved Institution.

NB: we would like to advice students not to come on campus as they will not be accommodated up
until February 2023, only those students who can be able to return home same day, are the only
one who can come on campus.

SPECAIL EXAMINATION

Applications for special examination are still open and they will close on the 11th of January 2023.
Application forms are obtained from exam office. All students who qualify for special examination will
be able to write on the 16th January 2023.

SUPPLEMENTARY RESULTS

As the SRC we have received complaints from students who could not receive their results and we are
saying all those students who are effected to join this WhatsApp group
(https://chat.whatsapp.com/FxpYK2Lv2gluq71ZcsXGD ) or ask any SRC member to add you on the
group.

NB: we would further like to forward our apology to our students for communicating with them at
this time we wanted to confirm the reschedule of the registration, it is not that we do not respect
them, and we promise to you (students) full update on everything by the end of the day.
