candidate for this role.

The Office of Outreach performs a dual function of building and nurturing long-term relationships with
the K-12 community through various Principal & Counselor-led events and school sessions, as well as
engaging with students and parents on a regular basis to help and guide them with their undergraduate
applications.

As a Student Ambassador, you will be representing our organization, and we trust that you will uphold the
highest standards of professionalism and integrity in your duties.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Promotion and Advocacy: Act as a positive and enthusiastic advocate for the university's initiatives,
programs, and values on campus and within the community.

Campus Outreach:
● Campus Tours: Leading campus tours and engaging with prospective students and parents
● Digital Engagement: Share your experience through videos and written testimonials; coordinate
with clubs & societies, and other departments to help build an impactful social media presence

Event Participation:
● Represent Ashoka University at Open House and School Events and accompany outreach
representatives in schools for sessions and other activities
● Encourage & assist in the recruitment of participants for organizational events, meetings,
workshops, and activities

Communication and Reporting: Maintain open and effective communication with the organization's
leadership, including regular updates on your activities and feedback from the student community.

Mentorship: Offer support and guidance to prospective students, sharing your experiences and insights
about our organization, campus life, and academic pursuits.

Feedback: Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improving our organization's programs
and initiatives.

Time Commitment: Your time commitment will vary depending on the specific events and initiatives,
but we estimate that it will require approximately 2 hours of your time per campus tour.

Term: Your term as a Student Ambassador will commence on 22nd September 2023 and conclude on
31st May 2024, unless extended or terminated earlier by mutual agreement.

Rewards: As a Student Ambassador, you may receive rewards from the team, for your active engagement
in the programme.

Confidentiality: Please note that any confidential information shared with you during your tenure as a
Student Ambassador must be kept confidential and not be disclosed to any unauthorized parties.

By accepting this appointment, you agree to abide by the duties and responsibilities outlined in this letter.
The Outreach office reserves the right to terminate the contract in the event of non/unsatisfactory
performance.
