The table below gives information about the problems faced by children in two primary schools in 2005 and
2015.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table lays out data concerning

difficulties pupils from two primary schools

faced in their studies in 2005 and 2015.

Generally speaking, students in

school B experienced fewer problems than

school A. However, on the whole, a

significantly lower percentage of children in

school A in 2015 suffered these problems when compared to pupils at the same school in 2005.

Between 2005 and 2015, the educational problems experienced by students at School A fell considerably,

especially concerning doing what the teacher says, focusing in class, their ability to orally convey their thoughts,

and in the ability to listen carefully. More specifically, the percentage of children who had trouble doing what

they were told in class more than halved from 42% in 2005 to 18% in 2015. A similar improvement was witnessed

in the pupils’ ability to concentrate while having lessons.

On the other hand, children at school B in 2005 encountered slightly fewer problems than their 2015

counterparts. The only major increase in problems for students at this school occurred in following instructions

from 6% to 12% respectively.
