The Gallipoli Campaign

The gallipoli Campaign was a total disaster because 2000 Australians where killed or wounded 8
months later after 11400 Australians and new zealand had been killed. By the end of World war
1, 130,000 soldiers on both sides had been killed they lost their lives for National identity and
won our country respect.

a newspaper article discussing the legend of anzac and the

gallipoli campaign and it goes well with Souce 4. The gallipoli
campaign was a military operation during world war 1. The
author suggests that at the time it acknowledged the extent
of the war and to show their respect to Turkey and Turkish
Australians that is why I have choses that this is a secondary
source.
That is why World War 1 was a disaster that is why every year we
commemorate the ANZAC.
