Self-Preparedness: Way to Fulfillment

Community affiliated services is much more than what we think of. It gives us

the opportunity to extend a hand, exploit camaraderie, learn from other people’s

experience, and the feeling of self – satisfaction. All of it in return of our services:

more than what we can give, yet it creates a great impact in the society and the

people around us. Community services to youth may be underrated even before

the pandemic due to workloads it assigns, it also requires a sense of maturity and

responsibility to whoever volunteers. The front may seem boring and burden but

once we engage into it, nothing can compare to the warm feeling of fulfillment.

The physical condition of a person who wants to engage in a community

service is necessary for performing the role intended. Yet, the self-discourse and

understanding oneself as well is required to know where we can assess and give

our services to. Being prepared physically is needed but having a stable mental

capability of knowing oneself is another thing: much important. Our ability to

communicate socially in diverse communities and relate to each other relies on

how we view ourselves as a person. I believe, we can accomplish more duties

when we’re prepare both physically and intellectually.

To sum it up, learning ourselves; personal perspectives, beliefs, insight, and

how we present ourselves to others determines our limitation and empathy to a

certain circumstance. It is essential when dealing someone’s sentiments and

experiences. People we’ll meet may differ in so many ways, that’s why dealing

ourselves before anything else is the first step to properly handle others. The

discoveries might overwhelm or trigger us as persona. Nonetheless, it is part of

the preparation to the path of long-term goals and self – fulfillment.
