Job Description
The internship programme provides candidates with a unique introduction to the Real Estate
Investment industry and the opportunity to experience Northwood’s culture and work environment.
Interns are exposed to the daily responsibilities and tasks of a full-time Analyst. Acquisition interns
will work on potential real estate equity and debt investment opportunities across Europe as well as
assist in the on-going asset management and dispositions of current assets and operating companies
in Northwood’s European portfolio. Throughout the internship, interns will gain both knowledge of
Northwood’s business and technical information of the Real Estate Industry through direct interaction
with investment professionals.

Northwood is looking for internship candidates who are available for a 12-week summer
internship or six-month off-cycle internship with potential to convert into a full-time position,
subject to performance. We seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and
have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. Qualified candidates typically have analytical,
quantitative, and technical skills, including proficiency i n fi nancial mo delling, st rong academic
records, a demonstrated interest in real estate or finance, and a proven work ethic. Additionally,
the candidate should have strong communication skills and an ability to work well in a
team environment.

Responsibilities
• Participate in transactions on behalf of Northwood Investors
• Assist in the preparation, review, and coordination of financial analyses for existing and
prospective investments
• Investment underwriting
• Research and create presentations about investment opportunities
• Asset management and dispositions
• Perform market and property due diligence, assistance on debt and JV structuring and review
strategic alternatives

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following education and experience:

• On track for 2.1 or above from leading university

• AAB minimum at A-Level (or equivalent)
• Interest in pursuing career in Real Estate Investing
• Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritize and efficiently plan for a variety of deliverables
• Flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team
• Prior working experience in finance and/or real estate is preferrable
• Final year or penultimate year students available for 3-6 months
