The Oil-free Air Division introduces the new heater reactivated adsorption dryers BD 330-1100+ and BD 360-1260.
The mission of Quality Air Solutions is to further extend its leading position as a global supplier for air treatment products for industrial applications.
Releasing the new BD+ and BD extended portfolio opens up a lot more sales opportunities while creating a dual and differentiated offer to our
customers. And more is yet to come: the coming months a new series heated purge adsorption dryers type AD+/AD and heated blower type BD+ with
closed loop zero purge cooling will follow.

Global production in local factories

For this new generation of adsorption dryers we will use one and the same platform to build all the
different type of dryers. This will bring a large degree of flexibility resulting in shorter lead times and
the availability of more variants.

In line with the release of this new range we will also decentralize the production of the products over
CD
the globe in three factories:

AD
Airpower : Europe and Africa (CE approval)
• Kenosha : North & South America, Middle East (ASME approval)
• Wuxi : Asia, Australia & New Zealand (ML & ASME approval)

It means that we will NOT produce ASME dryers in Airpower anymore; they will come from either
Kenosha or Wuxi. The ML dryers will come from Wuxi!

During the transition period you have to keep in mind that there is no new BD or BD+ ASME
approved unit available from Airpower, if you require an ASME approved unit you can order
the current design. The same goes for the CSA/UL electrical approval.
BD Zero Purge BD

Time line
The new products will be introduced in phases:
• April-May 2010 Kenosha and Wuxi will start with the CD dryers
• April 2010 we will start with the BD dryers in Airpower
• June 2010 Kenosha and Wuxi will start with the BD dryers as well
• June 2010 we will start with the AD dryers
• August 2010 Kenosha and Wuxi will start with the AD dryers

In the next days Product Connect will be gradually closed for the BD dryers, depending on the
availability.

Practical
We will open Product Connect for the new BD+ and BD around April 2010. An e-mail with
information is under construction and will be send to all BLM’s. We will upload soon GBP with the
new AML’s, dimension drawings, correction factor sheets etc.
