hypermarket, technologies, retailing of home appliances & electronics, watches, franchisee retailing and services. Malabar
Gold & Diamonds, the flagship company of Malabar Group currently features among the largest jewellery retailers globally
with a strong retail network spread across 11 countries, 13 manufacturing units in addition to wholesale units’, offices and
design centers spread across India, Middle East, Far East, Europe and North America.
Sub:Letter of Appointment
Further to the interview you had with us, we are pleased to appoint you as “Sales Executive Trainee” on the following terms
and conditions:
2. Probation
Confirmation of employment will be subjected to the successful completion of Six months' probation period. If your services
are found to be satisfactory at the probation period, you will be confirmed for the position offered.

Your services after confirmation can be terminated with one month notice or salary in lieu thereof. The services can also be
terminated without any notice as per UAE federal labor law.

You will be bound by UAE federal law and by any rules, regulations and office orders enforced by the management from time
to time in relation to conduct, discipline, holidays and on any matters relating to service conditions which will be deemed as
rules, regulations and order forming part of these terms of employment.
6. Confidentiality
You shall take all necessary care to keep the business and commercial secrets related to your work and should be faithful to
the organization. You shall not share any information on the company’s business processes, knowhow, security
arrangements, administrative or organizational matters to a third party without the consent of the top management.
7. Non Solicitation
You hereby agree that, while you are employed with us and for two (2) years following the termination of your employment
with us, you will not (i) directly or indirectly participate in the recruitment of any employee or (ii) directly or indirectly solicit,
attempt to solicit, canvas or interfere with any customer or supplier of the company or interferes in the business conducted
with such customer or supplier
8. Reporting
During course of your employment you will employ yourself efficiently and diligently and to the best of your ability shall devote
your whole time and attention to the interest of the company /organization and generally carry out duties and work as
assigned to you and shall obey and comply with all the orders and directions by the organization or your supervisor appointed
by the company.
9. Absence
Your unauthorized absence for a continuous period of 7 days (including absence when leave applied for but not granted) or
absent from work without a valid reason for more than 20 non successive days in one single year, will automatically lead to
disciplinary actions without any notice or intimation from the side of the management. If you fail to resume work immediately
after the expiry of your leave, you shall automatically forfeit your salary/wages for the period of absence, with effect from day
immediately following that on which the leave expires.
Take care of all files, books, documents and papers, particulars of all goods, merchandise, articles etc. You will also maintain
all equipment, machinery, vehicles etc under you and carry out necessary repairs services as required for its safekeeping
and maintenance.
During the employment if you are found guilty of misconduct or any willful breach or continuous negligence of the terms of
this appointment letter or rules or dereliction of duties and /or instructions given to you from time to time, the management
may take disciplinary action against you. You will be deemed to have brought about such a situation by your misconduct
compelling the management to put an end to your services and you shall, therefore, continue to be liable for all losses,
damages to the organization.You are liable to be suspended from service without pay pending enquiry into any charges of
misconduct against you, till having a final decision.
12. Health
This appointment and its continuance are subject to your being found and remaining medically (physically and mentally) fit.

You will retire from the service of the company/firm /organization on attaining the age of 45 years.
