Describe the faith contained in the Hadith a

b. how can Muslims put these teachings into actions

Hadith 1.

a) The word nasiha means sincerity, to act in good faith or to be sincere in one's
intentions. Hadith teaches that Muslims must be sincere to Allah, his messenger, and to the
Muslim community. Sincerity to Allah is to believe in him wholeheartedly. Muslims are
required to be sincere in the basic principles of Islam. They should be sincere in everything
they believe or do, and be loyal to the members of the community .

b). The Hadith tells us to be obedient to our 'din' and sincerely follow its teachings. We should
try our best to help humanity sincerely. The prophet has said," actions are judged by
intentions". Sincerity is the most important aspect of a Muslim life and the greatest
characteristic of a believer. The Prophet has said that sincerity is one third of religion.

Hadith 2.

a). Hadith stresses on the value of brotherhood . The Prophet set the best example of
brotherhood by making Ansar and Muhajirun as blood brothers. Muslims must treat other
Muslims as their brothers, without any distinction of color, race or tribe. They have to
cooperate and love each other. The prophet has said, "Muslims are like parts of one body, if
one part is injured, other parts feel pain and fever ". Care for other Muslims is part of Muslim
faith.

b). Hadith teaches Muslims to take care of each other to the extent that they should desire for
them what they desire for themselves , it is the golden rule of Islam based on human rights.
The Hadith inculcates understanding and respect for others, sympathy for the poor, and
sharing and caring without selfishness .the Holy Prophet has said, “you cannot enter paradise
unless you are a true believer, and you cannot be a true believer unless there is mutual love
between you". Muslims should care for each other without greed, selfishness and egoism.

Hadith. 3

a). Hadith stresses on helping neighbors and guests. Muslims believe in Allah and the day of
judgement and have good moral character, they are kind and generous towards neighbors and
guests. Muslims do not hurt people with tongue, they are caring and helpful to people. The
Prophet said, “to keep quiet is better than telling a lie".

b). The Hadith teaches Muslims to behave nicely to people. Hospitality is the important
feature of Muslim community. The Prophet said," he is not a true Muslim, who fills his
stomach and leaves his neighbor hungry". The Prophet and his companions used to stay
hungry to feed their guests and served them with their own hands. They were hospitable even
to their enemies. Sultan Salahuddin was hospitable to king Richard the crusader, who was
responsible for killing of many Muslims. We should follow the noble character of the Prophet
by being nice to people, we should not curse or taunt people nor should make fun of others.
Hadith 4

a). The Hadith stresses on the basic requirements of being a Muslim, which are to pray five
times a day, fast in the month of Ramadan and only do whatever is allowed for Muslims in the
Quran and Sunnah and stay away from all that is not allowed in shariah. Muslim are required
to follow five pillars of Islam, and obey Allah in everything to enter in paradise. Once a man
asked the prophet that what he should do to enter in paradise. The Prophet said," You shall
serve Allah, shall not associate partners with him, keep up prayers, pay zakat and keep fast in
Ramadan ".

b). Muslim try to please Allah by following obligatory duties, like prayer, fasting and
Haj ,only then get assured that he will enter in paradise. If we leave any of the pillar
of Islam we do not remain Muslim. True Muslims also try to earn halal, eat halal they stay
away from gambling, adultery stealing and terrorism.

Hadith. 5

a). The Hadith highlights the importance of good deeds towards fellow beings, no matter how
small and great they are. Hadith means that good actions gets a similar response from others.
Another aspect of Hadith is every good act is taken as sadqa-charity. Allah sees the intention
behind every action and he likes that we help others selflessly. Even the small actions like
speaking good, going to the mosque for prayer and removing something from the road.

b). Every Muslim should be source of benefit for others. They should act justly, should solve
disputes between people and help them whenever they need. They should plant trees, should
not cause pollution and help disabled. This way they can establish exemplary society which is
free from selfishness and based on humanity. The Prophet said," best among you is the one
who is the source of benefit for others".
