    Firstly, thank you for making me feel so welcome as I start at Westminster!

    I am writing to confirm the dates for the Christmas Shutdown period for this year which will
    be as follows:

    Last working day: Friday 15 December 2023

    Return to work: Wednesday 3 January 2023

    Staff who normally work during holiday periods are not required to be in School during this
    discretionary stand down period. However, anyone who wishes to be certain of not being
    called back into School in the event of an emergency should book the following days as
    annual leave:

    Monday 18 December
    Tuesday 19 December
    Wednesday 20 December
    Thursday 21 December
    Friday 22 December
    Wednesday 27 December
    Thursday 28 December
    Friday 29 December
    Tuesday 2 January 2024
