1. Introduction

1.1 Scope

This Capacitor Bank is used for rated voltage 115kV, rated frequency AC power
system 60Hz, to improve the power factor of power grid, improve power system voltage
quality, give full play to the economic efficiency of power transmission equipment, reduce
power loss and improve power utilization level.
